“ The cafe is beautiful filled with plants no matter where you were seated, you have an amazing view. The employees are so friendly and very attentive. The menu has great options for vegetarian and others; although entrees are unique and well thought out. They have a large selection of grape tea, coffee’s mock tails, seltzer, and regular cocktails. I highly recommend their cauliflower burger. After dining in you can walk around the grounds and visit the plant shops. It’s a very peaceful and beautiful place. I’d say it’s moderately priced. Overall, it was a wonderful time and I will be going back. ”
“ Visited this place due to wonderful reviews. Initially got a bit confused because it felt like I walked into a store , but they it is a themed cafe with a store. The ambience was awesome. Service was great. Food was exceptional. Especially love their bread and flavored butter (don't forget to ask about flavor of the day), quinoa fritters and their chocolate terrarium dessert. Been there thrice -with the family, with ladies for mothers day and for brunch date. Atmosphere somehow fits all occasions. ”
“ Had lunch here for a birthday celebration and loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful garden center after our meal. The food was excellent and our server was friendly. The Skakshuka was really tasty! ”
“ Been here 2 other times and service is always very good- people refilling water, courtesy check ins .... Hostess was very nice today - I didn’t get his name. But he even came around to refill water ... food is consistent. They have the outdoor garden with a greenhouse store. They have an events section too in a separate area. Love coming here. Summer is busy. But usually easy to get a table if you come right as they open without reservation. Otherwise I would make one. Menu is seasonal. Sitting space is indoor and outdoor with lots of light and plants. Small bar seat and booth area. Shrimp and grits were great but skipping on shrimp. Grits was cooked well but add salt and butter to your liking. Parking lot. Cash or card. ”
“ Fantastic every time!! The manager, Suzanna, helped me coordinate the perfect surprise maid/matron of honor proposal for my sisters and it was just a dream come true! The food, drinks, and service are always so spectacular each time. Terrain is my families favorite restaurant on the main line! Thank you again for all of the love and special efforts to making this memory so special for us! I hope to have my bridal shower here!! ”
“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Terrain Cafe in Devon, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I ordered the Golden Oat Milk Steamer, Cappuccino, Avocado Toast, and Harvest Bowl, and each item was exceptional. The Golden Oat Milk Steamer was a comforting, warm beverage with the perfect balance of spices and oat milk. The Cappuccino was rich and creamy, showcasing the cafe's skill in crafting quality coffee drinks. The Avocado Toast was beautifully presented, with ripe, fresh avocado on top of their own baked bread, which was hearty and flavorful. The Harvest Bowl was a highlight, packed with fresh, seasonal ingredients that made for a nutritious and satisfying meal. One of the standout features of the meal was the homemade butter with lemon and poppy seeds. The butter was white, soft, creamy, and incredibly fresh, adding a delightful touch to the already delicious bread. The ambiance of Terrain Cafe is cozy and welcoming, with a rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend Terrain Cafe for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, fresh food in a charming setting. ”
“ This restaurant is so beautiful, the plants really make the atmosphere. The food is great and always seems pretty healthy! Drinks are also good, never too sweet, lots of flavor. Very fun to walk around terrain shop and anthropology after eating! Have also been here for an event which was lovely! Beautiful event hall. ”
“ Always a beautiful time at Terrain. The lighting is always great there. I had the grilled cheese. Not really ever my first choice to buy something I can so easily make but the fig jam got me. I also got steak in it and that was good. I gave 4 stars but I asked for medium and they gave me medium well. It was still good and I didn’t feel like having to wait for it any longer so I just didn’t complain. We also got the dessert board. So good. The cookies were my favorite. The puffs were great too. Our waitress was Queen. She didn’t ask if we wanted any water but that was all. She did give her real opinions on the food which I appreciated. ”
